“Jimmy A.” Spirit Award
The “Jimmy A” Spirit Award honors the living legend that is Jim Adelman, a dedicated Longshore Sailing School employee, mentor and friend. The “Jimmy A” is awarded to the LSS staffer or staffers who consistently demonstrate outstanding character and selflessness. It recognizes someone who prioritizes the needs of others, shows integrity in all their actions, and embodies what it means to be a member of the “Longshore Family”.
The 2023 Honoree is Brandon Malin. Brandon is a jack of all trades and a master of them all. He is someone that has the best interest of Longshore Sailing School and its staff on his mind at all times. He is a professional Grady photographer (the office dog), kind soul and someone you can depend on. We thank Brandon for his contribution to the LSS team and for being a great example of what it means to represent the Spirit of Jimmy A.
Nick Lott embodies the nature of Jim Adelman's legacy. They consistently display exceptional character and selflessness, always putting the needs of others first. They lead with integrity and kindness and are never without their impeccable worth ethic. These are just a few examples of why Nick Lott is a cherished member of the Longshore Sailing School family.
Matt Lott has the ability to motivate students with their patience and enthusiasm while bringing a unique blend of wit and kindness to every interaction they have. They have a remarkable ability to lift the spirits of those around them and their presence is a constant reminder of what it means to be an integral part of our Longshore Family.
